“Garbhini Mitra” Course: Ayurveda-Based Maternal Wellness Support
Context
The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Ayush, launched the “Garbhini Mitra” course for the 2026–27 academic session. It is a six-month offline skill-development programme designed to train personnel to provide non-clinical maternal wellness support during pregnancy and the postnatal period.
