Context
On 20 August 2026, the 63rd Governing Body Meeting of the Sports Authority of India (SAI) approved the establishment of the National Coach Accreditation Board (NCAB). It forms an important part of the revamped Khelo India Scheme and aims to create a more organised system for coach education, accreditation and professional development in India.
