Earthquakes occur due to the movement of tectonic plates, and Venezuela lies in a seismically active region. Following the disaster, rescue teams, medical personnel, and emergency services worked to assist affected communities. The event highlighted the importance of disaster preparedness, resilient infrastructure, and international humanitarian cooperation. It also drew global attention to the need for rapid disaster response and rehabilitation in earthquake-prone regions.
