1. दिल्ली में AI संभालेगा ट्रैफिक सिग्नल: ₹1,789 करोड़ का ITMS
दिल्ली में ट्रैफिक जाम कम करने के लिए केंद्र सरकार ने ₹1,789.52 करोड़ के AI आधारित Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) को मंजूरी दी है। इसे 42 चिन्हित ट्रैफिक कॉरिडोर में तीन चरणों में लागू किया जाएगा और परियोजना को पूरा करने के लिए 24 महीने का समय निर्धारित है। इसके तहत 1,092 AI-enabled adaptive traffic control systems लगाए जाएंगे, जो वास्तविक traffic volume के अनुसार red-green signal का समय बदल सकेंगे। जुड़े हुए signals गैर-जरूरी रुकावट और देरी कम करेंगे तथा Traffic Command and Control Centre real-time monitoring करेगा। एंबुलेंस और अन्य emergency vehicles के लिए green corridor बनाने की सुविधा भी होगी। यात्रियों को digital platforms और variable message boards से congestion, diversion और parking की जानकारी मिलेगी। तर्क/सार: यह fixed-time traffic management से data-driven adaptive management की ओर बदलाव है। प्रभावशीलता accurate data, system maintenance और agencies के coordination पर निर्भर करेगी।
