The Namo Drone Didi Scheme is a Central Sector Scheme aimed at enabling women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to provide drone-based agricultural services to farmers. It seeks to combine women’s economic empowerment, rural entrepreneurship and precision agriculture. The scheme has an outlay of ₹1,261 crore for 2023-24 to 2025-26 and targets 15,000 drones for women SHGs.
